About the role
- The Early Interventionist provides specialized developmental intervention and monitoring to children, ages 0 to 3 (0-5 in Lakeport), who have an identified developmental delay or may be at risk of delay.
- The Early Interventionist works closely with families, care providers and members of the Regional Centers' interdisciplinary teams to monitor and enable children's development.
- The Early Interventionist is charged with creating a rich learning environment in which the child can make progress, meet treatment goals, and maximize learning potential.
Responsibilities
- Provide effective early intervention services in an inclusive and innovative manner that supports families and clients
- Collaborate with FoC shared services departments to ensure successful delivery of services
- Individuals may perform other duties as assigned, including work in other functional areas as deemed fit for the organization.
Requirements
- Ability to stand or sit for extended periods of time, stand for up to 6-8 hours a day.
- Visual and auditory ability to work with clients, staff and others in the workplace continuously.
- Ability to utilize computer, iPhone, iPad.
- constant concentration required when working with clients.
- Must be able to communicate effectively within the workplace, read and write using the primary language within the workplace.
- Ability to travel to multiple work sites and client homes
- Must have a valid California Driver's License with Insurance and maintain a clean driving record.
Nice to have
- At least 2 years of experience working with children who have been identified as having a developmental delay.
- Experience working with a wide range of children and families from varied socio-economic and cultural backgrounds preferred.
- Bilingual English/Spanish or English/Cantonese speaking highly desired.

- Ability to engage children and families, and work with very active children on the floor.

Compensation
- $70,304.00 - $80,000 Annually
