Responsibilities
- Lead the design and delivery of airspace-management capabilities for one of the world's most active commercial drone networks
- Build core services for shared-airspace coordination, flight deconfliction, and simulation
- Translate safety, operational, and interoperability requirements into clear system designs and product decisions
- Design systems for correctness, resilience, testability, observability, and auditability
- Own projects across the software lifecycle, from technical discovery and architecture through implementation, validation, rollout, and operation
- Design APIs and data models that support coordination across internal systems and external airspace participants
- A product mindset and empathy for operators, partners, and other users of the systems you build
- We design, build, and operate the world's largest autonomous logistics system, delivering critical supplies quickly and reliably.
- Our team is motivated by building systems that have a direct, meaningful impact on people's lives and by scaling the future of logistics.
- To support that growth, we are building software that enables autonomous aircraft to safely and efficiently operate in increasingly complex airspace.
Requirements
- Strong experience with distributed systems, service architecture, APIs, and data modeling
- experience with AWS and Kubernetes is helpful
- Experience operating production services in a modern cloud environment
