About the role
- The Kilian Manufacturing team in Syracuse, New York is seeking a skilled Multi‑Spindle Screw Machine Operator with hands‑on experience running Davenport, Acme‑Gridley, Brown & Sharpe, Schutte, or Tornos multi‑spindle equipment.

Responsibilities
- Adjust cams, tooling, collets, feeds, speeds, and attachments to maintain optimal performance
- Perform in‑process inspections using micrometers, calipers, comparators, and gauges
- Maintain machine cleanliness, lubrication, and basic preventive maintenance
- Collaborate with supervisors, setup technicians, and quality teams to ensure part accuracy and production efficiency
- Ability to perform minor setups and adjustments independently
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience operating multi‑spindle screw machines (Davenport, Acme‑Gridley, Schütte, Tornos, or equivalent)
- Familiarity with high‑volume production environments
- Ability to lift 40 lbs and stand for extended periods
Compensation
- Competitive hourly rate range from $22 to $35 per hour DOE + shift premium + comprehensive benefits
