About the role
- The Senior Utility Services Technician remains actively involved in field execution while supporting quality workmanship, safe work practices, and successful project delivery.
- What will you do as a Senior field Service Technician?
- Post-secondary education in electrical, power systems, utility operations, industrial electrical, engineering technology, or a related technical field considered an asset.

Requirements
- Support ordering of required parts, materials, and equipment while maintaining control of job materials and supporting work readiness for field activities.
- Support overtime, outages, weekends, emergency response, and varying schedules as operationally required.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Experience performing utility construction, maintenance, troubleshooting, installation, commissioning, or field service activities related to utility electrical systems required.
- Experience mentoring, supporting, or guiding field personnel considered an asset.
- Valid driver's license with a satisfactory driving record required.
- Here's what we're looking for: High school diploma or equivalent required.
Nice to have
- Experience supporting substations, transformers, switchgear, grounding systems, electrical distribution systems, or associated utility infrastructure preferred.
- Working knowledge of applicable electrical safety requirements, utility standards, technical standards, and jurisdictional requirements relevant to assigned work preferred.
