Responsibilities
- Lead negotiations for strategic acquisitions, trades, and divestitures of undeveloped and developed leasehold.
- Draft, review, and manage complex oil and gas agreements to ensure accuracy and compliance with legal, ethical, and corporate standards.
- Collaborate with legal counsel and land brokers to clear title for drilling and division order purposes.
- Maintain and monitor oil and gas contracts to ensure alignment with corporate policies and industry regulations.
- Drives Performance: Delivers results through realistic planning to accomplish goals.
- As a key member of a multidisciplinary team, you'll collaborate with engineering, geology, legal, regulatory, and surface land professionals to unlock value and drive responsible growth.
- This position offers the opportunity to lead complex negotiations, manage high-value contracts, and represent ConocoPhillips in interactions with landowners, government agencies, and industry partners.

- Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent.
- 3 or more years of land negotiation experience in the oil and gas industry.
- 1 or more years of in-house land negotiation experience.
- Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Teams, Word).
- Experience with land management software (e.g., Quorum, ArcGIS, Enverus).
- Background in project planning, acquisition economics, and commercial deal structures.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to mentor and share knowledge.
