Responsibilities
- Manage pre-litigation claims and legal matters.
- Partner with claims professionals to resolve matters before litigation.
- Manage litigation strategy and represent the company in court.
- Slide Insurance is currently hiring multiple Staff Counsel attorneys to support our growing legal team.
Requirements
- Strong knowledge of Florida civil procedure, evidence rules, and insurance-related statutes
- Juris Doctor (JD) from an ABA-accredited law school and active Florida Bar membership (in good standing)
- Excellent written and oral advocacy, negotiation, and legal research skills
- Ability to independently analyze legal issues and manage cases with minimal supervision
- Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
- Strong commitment to professionalism, ethics, and Slide's Core Values

- 4+ years of litigation experience in Florida
- first-party property defense experience preferred
