About the role

  • We are seeking a highly skilled React Frontend Developer with expertise in building responsive, accessible, and scalable web applications.
  • This role requires a strong understanding of Section 508 accessibility standards and experience developing user-centric applications for government or enterprise environments.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain responsive web applications using React.js.
  • Build reusable, scalable, and maintainable React components and frontend libraries.
  • Manage application state using Redux and handle asynchronous data flows.
  • Collaborate with UX/UI designers to implement intuitive and accessible user experiences.
  • Develop and execute unit and integration tests using Jest and React Testing Library.
  • Participate in code reviews and maintain high standards for code quality and performance.
  • Optimize application performance through code splitting, lazy loading, memoization, and other best practices.
  • Support Agile development processes, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
  • Create and maintain technical documentation for application features, enhancements, and processes.

Requirements

  • Bachelor''''s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 5+ years of frontend development experience.
  • Strong expertise in React.js, JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, and CSS3.
  • Experience with Redux for state management.
  • Strong understanding of Section 508, WCAG, and accessibility compliance requirements.
  • Experience with Git, Git workflows, and source code management.
  • Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins.
  • Proficiency in writing unit and integration tests using Jest and React Testing Library.
  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
  • The ideal candidate will have strong experience with React.js, Redux, REST API integration, and modern frontend development practices.

Nice to have

  • Experience supporting Federal Government projects.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure.
  • Experience with TypeScript.
  • Knowledge of frontend security best practices.
  • Experience with performance optimization techniques and frontend architecture patterns.
  • TypeScript AWS Azure Docker
