Responsibilities

  • Collaborate for Smooth Closings: You'll partner closely with underwriting, processing, and closing teams to ensure loans move efficiently from application to funding.
  • Stay Compliant and Accountable: You'll maintain full compliance with all federal, state, investor, and SAFE Act requirements, including MLO registration.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
  • Demonstrated expertise in relationship management, problem resolution, and high‑touch customer service.
  • Ability to perform complex income and financial analysis with a high degree of accuracy.
  • Your expertise, initiative, and personal network will fuel growth while ensuring every interaction reflects BECU's commitment to service, integrity, and care.
  • 3 years of mortgage loan sales experience, which includes the ability to self‑generate in the range of $20 million or more in annual mortgage volume.
  • Strong sales skills including prospecting, referral development, negotiation, and pipeline management.
  • Proficient verbal and written skills to effectively communicate.

Compensation

  • The Target Pay Range for this position is $54,800.00-$66,800.00 annually.
  • The full Pay Range is $45,032.00 - $79,100.00 annually.
  • At BECU, compensation decisions are determined using factors such as relevant job-related skills, experience, and education or training.
  • In addition to your salary, compensation incentives are available for the hired applicant.
  • 4% annual contribution to your 401(k) by BECU
