Requirements

  • Minimum two (2) years of teaching experience, or equivalent, preferably in a postsecondary setting is considered an asset but not required
  • Industry experience in the following areas is considered an asset:
  • Under the direction of the Chair, Architecture, Construction and Civil, the Professor will be required to teach courses in the General Carpentry Apprenticeship program within the Algonquin Center for Construction Excellence.

  • $80.63-$139.88-Hourly

  • The Professor will be responsible for facilitating and guiding learning and providing an effective learning environment for all students.
  • Defining learning outcomes and evaluating and validating these outcomes;
  • Specifying and approving learning approaches, necessary resources, etc.;
  • Incorporating educational technologies to meet the learning needs of 21st-century students;
