Responsibilities
- Own the editorial calendar: Build, maintain, and execute a weekly and quarterly content calendar aligned to company priorities
- Set and maintain editorial standards: Ensure all content meets high standards for accuracy, clarity, tone, structure, and consistency across channels
- Conduct research: Independently research topics, validate claims, and synthesize information into clear narratives
- Partner cross-functionally: Work directly with Product, Marketing, Sales, Customer Success, and executives to source stories and align messaging
- Drive thought leadership: Help shape executive and company narratives that position EvenUp as a leader in AI and legal technology
- Experience building and managing editorial calendars tied to business and marketing goals
- Ability to operate independently, manage multiple priorities, and move quickly in a fast-paced environment
- Appreciation for strong storytelling, design, product thinking, and innovation
Requirements
- Excellent writing and editing skills with the ability to turn complex ideas into clear, concise, and engaging content
- 8+ years of proven experience creating original content and identifying relevant stories, trends, and topics that matter to our audience
- Experience working cross-functionally and partnering with senior leaders to shape clear, compelling messaging
- Experience covering technology, AI, business strategy, innovation, or emerging industries
- Working understanding of AI concepts and a strong interest in the space, with the ability to quickly learn and translate complexity into accessible narratives
