Responsibilities
- The Amazon Center for Quantum Computing (CQC) team is looking for a passionate, talented, and inventive Research Engineer specializing in hardware design for cryogenic environments.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or above in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, material science, physics or equivalent
- Bachelor's degree with 6+ years of relevant experience, Master's degree with 5+ years relevant experience, or PhD with 2+ years relevant experience.
- Experience with cryogenic mechanical design and product development lifecycle
- Expertise with Finite Element Analysis (Thermal, Mechanical, EM) and 3D CAD (SolidWorks)
- The ideal candidate
Nice to have
- PhD in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, material science, physics or related field
- Experience with quantum hardware development and quantum processor packaging
- Knowledge of RF/Microwave principles
- Experience with PCB design and manufacturing
