About the role
- It offers a full spectrum of water, waste, and energy management services, including water and wastewater treatment, commercial and hazardous waste collection and disposal, energy consulting and resource recovery.

- Position Purpose: Corporate Counsel will represent and provide legal advice to the Company's Municipal Water Contract Operations business unit.
Responsibilities
- Draft and negotiate agreements, contracts and other legal documents to protect the company's rights and interests.
- Maintain current knowledge of new legislation and amendments.
- Support the Company's goal of helping municipal clients address their environmental and sustainability challenges.
Requirements
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills as well as a proven ability to negotiate and draft documentation for sophisticated commercial transactions.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, with an ability to interface with colleagues at all levels of the organization by virtue of professional competence, personal integrity, and personal style.
- Required Certification/Licenses/Training:
Nice to have
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in legal practice.
- Prior experience as in-house counsel preferred, but not required.
Skills
- Licensed to practice law in the United States.
- State bar member in good standing.
- Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
Compensation
- $150000 to $170000 Per Year.
