Responsibilities

  • As a Senior Electrical & Controls Engineer at ITAC, you will play a key role in the design and implementation of electrical & control systems for a variety of projects in industries such as power generation, pulp & paper, utilities, chemicals, food & beverage, and more.
  • With our multidisciplinary approach, you will have the opportunity to collaborate with colleagues from different disciplines and different regions of the US to develop innovative design-build solutions that exceed client expectations.
  • Responsible for performing the layout, analysis, and design of the electrical & controls engineering scope of work for heavy industrial projects
  • Ability to lead a small staff of junior engineers and designers.
  • Perform quality checking procedures for Electrical Engineering work performed by others.
  • The ability to resolve technical design conflicts.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks effectively.

Requirements

  • This includes proficiency in utilizing various computer software packages.
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in electrical engineering (or equivalent working knowledge/experience) In-depth knowledge of electrical codes and standards, including NFPA 70 (National Electrical Code).
  • Proficiency in electrical design software, such as AutoCAD, Revit, or ETAP.
