About the role
- This position plays a crucial role in shaping our project bidding process and ensuring our competitive edge in the electrical construction sector.
- You will be responsible for preparing comprehensive cost estimates, analyzing project specifications, and ensuring the accuracy of bid proposals submitted to clients.
- Accurately prepare detailed cost estimates for electrical construction projects, including labor, materials, and equipment.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and design teams to clarify project requirements.
- Develop and maintain relationships with subcontractors and suppliers to obtain accurate pricing.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with team members and clients.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field Minimum of 10 years of experience in electrical estimating within commercial construction.
- Strong understanding of NEC codes and industry standards.
Nice to have
- Relevant certifications (e.g., Certified Professional Estimator - CPE) are a plus.
