- Cultivate and maintain relationships with sources and reps
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience working in a major breaking news organization
- Proven ability to break news and garner noteworthy exclusives in the tech world, focusing on big money, society and trends
- Extensive knowledge of tech movers and shakers with a robust network of contacts and sources
- On-camera experience and proficiency in conducting interviews
- Ability to work a full-time, Monday-Friday schedule with flexibility in covering live events and working outside traditional business hours when needed.

Compensation

- This pay range reflects our good faith estimate for the role and may vary based on a candidate's experience, skills, location, and other relevant factors.
- $120,000 - $145,000

- Think strategically about the daily news cycle and contribute to ongoing coverage of trending stories
- Expert in using traffic analytics to help guide coverage and determine successes
- Ability to work with video, photo, and other departments seamlessly to better enhance daily news coverage
- For bonus-eligible roles, targets are determined based on multiple considerations, including market benchmarks and individual contributions.
