About the role
- equipment including environmental control equipment as well as the test
- Work in shop floor and field to adjust and calibrate devices, repair and replace
- calibration, and repairing equipment, to detect and prevent problems
Responsibilities
- Climb poles, replace 12 KV fuses, open air switches and ground lines. Build and remove 12 KV power lines, install and maintain photo-cell equipment, flood lights, telephone and low voltage secondary lines.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Excellent reading comprehension and math skills are required.
- Flexibility in a dynamic environment, with the ability to prioritize and organize job activities.
- Ability to work safely.
- Ability to lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift/move more than 100 pounds.
- Make uniform bends and install conduit according to the National Code and California Electrical Safety Orders, and pull in required wire and check.
- Must be able to make up standard frames for equipment, mount equipment on frames and install for the job.
Nice to have
- A minimum of 5 years of applicable experience, preferred in industrial plant processes.
