About the role

As a Structural Designer III, you will join our growing structural engineering team and contribute to a wide range of renewable energy projects.
The ideal candidate works under minimal supervision, applying advanced CAD skills to produce high-quality structural drawings, models, and details.
Use Autodesk products to produce structural construction drawings and sheet sets - plan views, sections, elevations, and connection and foundation details - for solar (PV), battery storage (BESS), and high-voltage (HV) projects.

Model and detail foundations (driven piles, screw and helical piles, and cast-in-place concrete), overhead steel structures, building envelopes, and non-building structures.
Generate foundation bills of material (BOMs) and quantity takeoffs across large project areas, working closely with the civil design team.
Work closely with structural engineers to interpret design intent and translate markups into accurate, complete drawings and models.
Coordinate with other disciplines such as civil, electrical, and geotechnical to ensure design integration and constructability.
Coach and mentor junior designers, and help develop and maintain CAD standards, templates, and design automation.
Working knowledge of structural detailing for foundations, steel, and concrete, with the ability to produce clean, coordinated construction documents.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and collaborate effectively across disciplines.

An associate or technical degree in drafting/CAD, engineering technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience.

Two or more years of structural or CAD design experience, with strong proficiency in Autodesk products
