About the role
- Recognizing the diversity of women's experience in today's society, our programs seek to address a range of issues in a woman's life that may contribute to substance use and gambling concerns.
- Understanding each woman's experience within the broader physical, emotional, social, cultural and gender framework, we provide a client-centered approach to health.
- Working hours may include day and evening shifts This is a hybrid role, with 4 days on-site and 1 day remote Rate of Pay: $34.10 - $39.89 (22.5 hours/ week) How will you help to get us there?
Responsibilities
- The Family Counsellor provides therapeutic support to individuals, and families experiencing relational, emotional, behavioral, or situational challenges.
- Develop and implement a therapeutic relationship to address factors contributing to substance use, trauma and/or family related challenges.
- Administration Maintain documentation of relevant client interactions and interventions, and contacts with collateral supports.
- Develop and maintain attendance tracking and evaluation tools Collaborate with internal teams and external service providers to coordinate care and referrals.
