About the role

  • Integrated into all aspects of the Technip work fronts (Engineering, Procurement, Project Controls, etc.) Ensures change orders to EPF contract are limited by contract SME insight and effective communication/coordination between CF and Technip.
  • Acts as CF management representative for main Mechanical Contractor for pre-mobilization construction planning, and construction execution.
  • Coordinates Construction Contractor inquiries with CF Project Team and Technip Engineering resources.

Responsibilities

  • Manage project scope, provide oversight of Technip, Mechanical Contractor, and other 3rd Party activities and assure accuracy on progress reports.
  • Manage and coordinate with external engineering firms the strategies for packaged equipment such as process modules, vendor skids, or process unit packages.
  • This includes coordination around engineering specifications, procurement, vendor selection (and subsequent management), logistics, construction/installation oversight, and commissioning/startup support.
  • Effectively develop detailed project schedules and project cash flow projections and communicate project status and progress vs schedule and budget targets to management frequently and in writing. Proactively communicate delays and impact with management.
  • Maintain a professional working relationship with all departments.

Requirements

  • Technip Houston Office, Mechanical Construction Contractor, other 3rd Parties as required

Nice to have

  • Chemical or Mechanical Engineering preferred.
  • 5 or more years of experience with capital project development and/or execution.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification preferred.
  • Ability and willingness to communicate effectively across multiple cultures and time zones both verbally and in writing
  • High degree of personal responsibility for assigned project safety, cost, and schedule performance
  • Requires minimal management oversight.
  • Self-motivated for work prioritization/execution.
  • Strong management skills required, including team leading, decision making, and prioritizing
