Responsibilities
- Process Analysis & Optimization: Collaborate with departments (Product, Marketing, Sales, Operations, Customer Success, and Talent Management-our team working directly with Cameo's celebrities and creators) to map workflows, identify bottlenecks, and uncover automation opportunities
- Custom Automation Development: Build scripts, integrations, and automation solutions using languages like Python, JavaScript/NodeJS, or similar to connect systems and streamline operations
- Documentation & Training: Create clear documentation and provide training to teams on new automated workflows and tools
- Strategic Roadmap: Develop and maintain an automation roadmap prioritizing high-impact initiatives aligned with company goals

- As an Automation Engineer you will partner with teams across Cameo to identify inefficiencies, implement automation solutions, and optimize workflows.
- You'll evaluate existing processes, recommend and integrate new tools, and build custom automation solutions that scale across the organization.

- Nice to Have
- Hands-on experience with automation platforms (Zapier, Make, Power Automate, Workato, or similar)
- Experience with RPA (Robotic Process Automation) tools
- Familiarity with databases (SQL and/or NoSQL) and data manipulation
- Background in operations, consulting, or process improvement
- Knowledge of workflow automation in SaaS or marketplace businesses
- Experience in a startup or fast-paced environment

Compensation
- The salary range for this position is $145,000 to $175,000 with opportunities for additional compensation based on performance.
