About the role
- Job Overview ASSYST is seeking a versatile, data-driven, and creative Communication Coordinator to join our team.
Responsibilities
- Take the lead on executing new communication projects from start to finish rather than just maintaining legacy processes.
- Create, and design high-quality communication materials, including corporate newsletters, presentations, and pitch decks.
- Evaluate our current website design from a user perspective
- Keep our primary channels (Website, Social, Partner communications) updated, vibrant, and aligned with our brand identity.
- Collaborate closely with the Business Development team to coordinate outreach efforts, crafting compelling messages for partner acquisition.
- Mindset: A proactive, "can-do" attitude with a genuine enthusiasm for building community and keeping people excited.
- Communication Skills: Exceptional writing, interpersonal, and storytelling skills with a sharp eye for modern design trends.
- Evaluate our current website design from a user perspective; recommend and coordinate fresh updates to improve layout, look, and feel.
Requirements
- 1-2 years of experience in marketing, brand management, communications, or a related role.
- Bachelor's degree (BS/BA) from an accredited four-year college or university.
Nice to have
- Prior familiarity with the Government Contracting (GovCon) industry is a significant plus.
- Familiarity with social media platforms (especially LinkedIn) and basic tools (e.g., Canva, or Google Analytics).
