About the role

Description of Work The Cook is a skilled professional responsible for preparing nutritious meals for residents at O'Berry Center.
This position involves preparing food in accordance with approved menus and portion quantities.
Work is routinely reviewed by a supervisor to ensure compliance with food safety standards and effective minimization of food waste.

Basic knowledge of the standard tools, methods, and practices utilized to maintain food safety.
Basic knowledge and ability to maintain high standards of sanitation as outlined in the NC Food Code.
