About the role
- Job Description: Central State Hospital is seeking a full-time Recovery Services Specialist to join the Recovery Services team!
- This position will primarily work M-F, 8am-4:30pm but will rotate some evening and weekend hours.
Nice to have
- Plans, schedules and conducts psychoeducational classes on recovery as assigned (e. g., medication side effects, ADL, communication skills, stress management strategies).
- T eaches and models healthy behaviors, consistent with the treatment/care goals of recovery.
- Contributes to safe and therapeutic environment by practicing verbal de-escalation and, as authorized, other behavior management techniques.
- Communicates information relevant to care, treatment, and services, with other staff members.
- Assist with patient care duties and other activities as necessary.
- Must have high school diploma or GED.
- Bachelor's degree in related field preferred ( or equivalent experience.)
- 1 year of relevant experience preferred.
