About the role

  • InCharge Energy is seeking a detail-oriented Electric Vehicle Charging Station (EVCS) Technician to enhance our service operations and contribute to our ongoing growth.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain meticulous records for all repairs and installations and coordinate seamlessly with third parties/vendors to ensure flawless project execution
  • Create warm leads for the sales team to explore opportunities for selling additional EV chargers and ask for referrals to expand our customer base
  • Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment. Maintain a high standard of safety practices while working with high voltage and in various environmental conditions
  • Continue developing your expertise through ongoing training and certifications provided by InCharge Energy.
  • Must provide and maintain your own set of hand tools necessary to perform the duties of the role
  • Flexibility to work occasional overtime or adjusted hours to support service schedules and customer needs
  • Must maintain a clean driving record and comply with all company vehicle and safety policies

Requirements

  • Provide and maintain your own basic hand tools required for performing work on EV chargers
  • Associate's degree or certification in a relevant technical field
  • Valid driver's license, with a clean driving record and ability to travel 75%+ within your assigned territory and nearby regions
  • occasional travel across the U.S. may be required
  • Must be comfortable independently operating a vehicle for extended periods and flying domestically for work-related travel

Nice to have

  • Journeyman's license or higher, or formal electrical training, is strongly preferred
