About the role

  • This position is responsible for processing chicks, cleaning/sanitizing of the processing areas and equipment by performing all essential duties.
  • Grades approximately 60,000 chicks (25%).
  • Operates robot to vaccinate and beak trim approximately 2,000 chicks per hour, per customer order. (25%)

Requirements

  • Must have at least 12 months of consecutive work history with one employer and no additional job gaps in employment greater than 6 months in the past 36 months.
  • Performs toe trim on approximately 8,000 chicks for identification purposes if required. (15%)
  • Safety glasses are required.
