About the role
- The SME will provide expertise in the development, maintenance, and delivery of Enlisted College Distance Education Program (ECDEP) curriculum supporting enlisted Professional Military Education (PME).
- Integrate Marine Corps leadership attributes and competencies identified in NAVMC 3500.18E (Marine Corps Training and Readiness Manual) into assigned curriculum.
- Serve as the Subject Matter Expert in one or more of the following curriculum areas:
Responsibilities
- Support development and maintenance of six (6) Phase I Interactive Multimedia Instruction (IMI) courses.
- Support development and maintenance of three (3) Phase II Regional Seminar courses.
Requirements
- Demonstrated expertise in one or more of the following:
- Ability to work collaboratively with instructional designers, curriculum developers, multimedia specialists, and Government stakeholders.
Nice to have
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.
- Experience coordinating multimedia development efforts.
- Security Clearance
- Active Secret (Tier 3) Security Clearance preferred.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret Security Clearance.

- Maintain MarineNet courseware, assessments, and instructional materials through annual content reviews.

- Develop and revise curriculum to achieve Student Learning Outcomes approved by the Commanding General, Education Command (EDCOM).
- Incorporate Joint Professional Military Education (JPME) requirements and Joint Enlisted Desired Leader Attributes in accordance with CJCSI 1805.01C (Enlisted Professional Military Education Policy - EPMEP).
