About the role

  • Requires you to renovate units, constructing, installing, repairing, and maintaining structures and fixtures made of all materials (wood/steel/plaster etc..). trouble shoot, repair, install and apply preventative maintenance techniques.
  • Read and interpret drawings, and scopes for unit turns.
  • Measure, cut, and shape wood, plastic, and other materials.

Responsibilities

  • Own hand and power tools (they are not provided) and work vehicle.
  • Collaborate with all team members in a professional manner
  • Collaborate with 3rd party construction professionals such as electricians, plumbers, and contractors when necessary.
  • Maintain a clean and safe job site.
  • Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance work orders as assigned.

Requirements

  • Must be able to handle emergencies occurring after regular office hours.
  • Proven relevant carpentry skills.
  • Strong knowledge of carpentry techniques and methods.
  • Excellent communication, customer service, and organizational skills required.
  • Ability to problem-solve, multi-task and remain detail-oriented.
  • Ability to work independently as well as within a team.
  • Ability to lift up to 50lbs.
  • High School Diploma and 5+ years of work-related experience.
