About the role
- Requires you to renovate units, constructing, installing, repairing, and maintaining structures and fixtures made of all materials (wood/steel/plaster etc..). trouble shoot, repair, install and apply preventative maintenance techniques.
- Read and interpret drawings, and scopes for unit turns.
- Measure, cut, and shape wood, plastic, and other materials.
Responsibilities
- Own hand and power tools (they are not provided) and work vehicle.
- Collaborate with all team members in a professional manner
- Collaborate with 3rd party construction professionals such as electricians, plumbers, and contractors when necessary.
- Maintain a clean and safe job site.
- Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance work orders as assigned.
Requirements
- Must be able to handle emergencies occurring after regular office hours.
- Proven relevant carpentry skills.
- Strong knowledge of carpentry techniques and methods.
- Excellent communication, customer service, and organizational skills required.
- Ability to problem-solve, multi-task and remain detail-oriented.
- Ability to work independently as well as within a team.
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs.
- High School Diploma and 5+ years of work-related experience.
