About the role

  • Position: Registered Nurse (RN) Location: Lincoln Regional Center, a Joint Commission accredited state psychiatric hospital focused on patient-centered care.

Requirements

  • Other: Must be at least 19 years of age and able to attend 3 weeks of new employee orientation during day hours.
  • Must be able to push, pull and lift up to 60 lbs.
  • Must have a valid driver's license or the ability to provide independent authorized transportation.
  • Required to work a minimum of 32 hours per month, including 2 weekend shifts.
  • All training must be completed within 3 months of your start date.
  • Our full-time schedules work three 12-hour shifts/36 hours per week to ensure you have time for what matters most outside of work.
  • A current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in Nebraska or authority based on the Nurse Licensure Compact to practice as a registered nurse in Nebraska.
  • Consideration will be given to applicants who are within 90 days of completing their RN program and/or obtaining RN licensure.

Compensation

  • Starting pay rate: $51.336/hour plus additional Facility Differential Pay of $3.00/hour plus additional shift differentials up to $2.50/hour, available to new hires not currently employed with the State of NE.
