Responsibilities

  • Coordinates day to day support staff operations within the MACC Fund Center Outpatient department.
  • Provides day to day administration of the support staff.
  • Responsible for maintaining an environment conducive to peak performance in all areas of operation and serves as an active member of the leadership team to support the overall operations.
  • Develops strategies to promote patient experience within the Ambulatory support staff team.
  • Provides resource support to staff related to department responsibilities and operations as well as computer systems and procedures.

Requirements

  • Computer related experience with spreadsheets, computer scheduling and word processing.
  • Excellent organizational skills required prioritizing workload.

  • Promotes staff development and growth.
  • Contributes to performance of long-range objectives for the service line including but not limited to financial goals, operations improvement, quality improvement, resource utilization and clinical practice enhancements.
  • Proactively trends system issues, identifies solutions and works with unit leadership team to continually improve systems.
  • Fosters an environment conducive to positive patient/family interactions and assures that service standards are met or exceeded.
  • Independently acts as a patient care advocate by investigating and resolving concerns raised by staff, patient or family members.
  • Uses family feedback for patient experience improvement efforts.
  • Ensures effective communication of information between enterprise and service line leadership and clinic staff.
  • Coordinates in partnership with leadership team regular staff meetings, prepares agenda and submits minutes.
