About the role

  • The Distribution Center Coordinator provides administrative support for distribution center operations.
  • This position serves as a primary point of contact between distribution center staff and internal business partners, coordinates shipping and receiving documentation, maintains front office operations, supports employee engagement activities, and assists with attendance and facility administrative processes.

Responsibilities

  • Create shipping paperwork for repetitive shipments leaving weekly
  • Maintain the office and warehouse break areas ensuring that they are properly stocked and clean.
  • Maintain office supply inventory levels
  • Issue and maintain vending machine cards and access cards for all employees, including replacements and access modifications
  • Coordinate building events to drive morale increased in the DC staff (i.e. Birthday recognition, warehouse lunches, etc…)

Requirements

Nice to have

  • Experience in a warehouse environment is preferred.

Skills

  • Highly motivated self-starter requiring minimal supervision.
  • Highly Organized
  • High attention to detail
  • Must be capable of learning relevant warehouse operations systems, e.g., ERPs, WMSs.
  • Must have good understanding of MS Office Suite software including Excel.
