About the role
- Cabinet Peaks Medical Center is looking for a Laundry Technician to join our Environmental Services Department on an as needed basis (PRN).
- This position is responsible for providing clean linen for the medical center and ancillary buildings.
- Major Job Duties & Responsibilities Sorts linen appropriately.
Responsibilities
- The Laundry Tech maintains and updates knowledge of equipment and supplies used in the laundering process.
- Maintains utility and storage areas in a clean and orderly manner.
Requirements
- Refills all necessary supplies and dispensers as required.
Compensation
- Completes the assigned Healthstream annual education courses on time.
Benefits
- This position must maintain knowledge of department and medical center policies and procedures.
- Distributes linen to the appropriate areas of the medical center as scheduled.
- Completes the assigned Healthstream annual education courses on time.
- Cleans medical center areas and linen storage as scheduled.
- Must meet all local health regulation requirements including a criminal background investigation and reference inquiry
- Education Requirements
- High School Education or equivalent preferred.
- Weekend and holidays are required to provide coverage.
- Hours and shifts may change or rotate to provide coverage and perform the necessary duties.
