About the role
- This role works collaboratively across the organization while prioritizing production and inbound components.
- Located at our Florence, Kentucky site, this role reports to the Planning Manager and works with other Production Planners and Buyers.
Responsibilities
- Collaborates with corporate Planners to publish weekly and daily fill schedule with priority list for Florence Plant based on incoming sales and replenishment orders
- Partners with product marketing management, product support and master data teams to ensure current Florence Bills of Materials for finished goods
- Maintains sufficient supply of material for blending needs
- Collaborates with other departments including Customer Service and Logistics to ensure customer needs are met, including preparation of sample orders (packaging materials)
- Maintains production-related records and ensures the confidentiality of all data
Requirements
- At least 1 year of related work experience in a manufacturing environment
- Associate's degree in Supply Chain or business related degree
- Proficiency with Tableau
- A Production Planner is required to perform the following essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation:
