About the role

  • The Loan Surveillance Analyst is responsible for monitoring and analyzing the performance of loan portfolios to identify risks and opportunities.
  • This role involves reviewing financial statements, tracking loan payments, and assessing compliance with loan agreements.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the workflow to ensure timely preparation and delivery of Watchlists for each assigned deal, including reviewing and approving these lists as necessary.
  • Collaborate with Portfolio Managers to address significant issues identified in monthly surveillance reports concerning pool, loan, and collateral performance.
  • Lead and organize periodic conference calls and meetings with deal participants, managing the timing, attendance, and structure of investor calls.

Nice to have

  • Strong writing and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively communicate to senior management.
  • High proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, and Access, and familiarity with loan servicing software such as McCracken.
  • Excellent organizational and analytical abilities, with a knack for conducting independent web-based research.
  • ​ ​ Bachelor's degree or equivalent ​
  • ​ ​ 3+ years of experience in a similar position ​

Compensation

  • $70,304 - $75,000 USD
  • Assist in the preparation of annual portfolio reviews to assess and monitor trends in pool, loan, and collateral performance.
  • The provided base salary information for this position is part of an overall national range.
