About the role
- This isn't a run-of-the-mill installation gig - you'll be working on the front lines of the clean energy transition, shaping how we improve our process, and representing Jetson in the moments that matter most to our customers.

Responsibilities
- Stay current on local building codes and make sure every job is compliant before you wrap
- Collaborate with fellow installers and our engineering team to flag better ways of doing things and help us continuously raise the bar.
Requirements
- Ability to work independently as well as working alongside a crew
- EPA Section 608 Certification (required or actively in progress)
- Ability to read blueprints and wiring schematics
- Solid hands-on residential HVAC install experience, including working in attics, crawlspaces, and tight or physically demanding environments
- Working knowledge of local building codes and how to stay compliant
- Strong refrigerant handling skills - recovery, evacuation, and charging done right
- A sharp eye for quality and a low tolerance for cutting corners
- Clear, professional communication with both customers and teammates
- A problem-solving mindset when installs don't go exactly as planned
- Physical stamina to handle heavy equipment and work across varied conditions
- Follows OSHA Electrical Standard
- Follows the Occupational Safety and Health Administration's (OSHA) Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) standard
Nice to have
- Experience with heat pumps or mini-splits is a strong plus - we'll invest in growing that expertise if you're eager to learn
