About the role
- The Safety Supervisor is responsible for overseeing and enforcing all safety policies and procedures for Central Florida Traffic Control operations.
- This role ensures compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations while promoting a proactive safety culture throughout the organization.
- This position also plays a key role in managing the company's overall safety program, training initiatives, and regulatory reporting.
Responsibilities
- Maintain OSHA logs (300, 300A) and EMR tracking.
- Maintain training records and safety documentation.
- Maintain Job Hazard Analysis (JHA) documentation and ensure proper completion.
- Maintain PPE inventory and safety supply levels.
Requirements
- Ability to stand and work outdoors for extended periods..
- Ability to lift and handle equipment.
- Knowledge of FDOT, MUTCD, and OSHA standards.
- Travel required throughout Central Florida.
Nice to have
- High school diploma or GED required..
- Experience in temporary traffic control preferred..
