About the role

  • A rapidly growing, entrepreneurial technology company, Alarm.com is seeking a Supply Chain Category Planner to join its Supply Chain team.
  • In this role, you should have an analytical mind and a strong business acumen.

Responsibilities

  • Manage product transitions:
  • Collaborate with suppliers on component lead times, minimum order quantities and production schedules.
  • Develop forecast and inventory purchase requirements.
  • Manage product discontinuations (EOL) to support marketing and product management.
  • Implement strategies to minimize inventory obsolescence.
  • Maintain organized and accurate data for month end reporting, leadership meetings, and KPI review.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in Supply Chain, Logistics, or similar role.
  • On occasion, ability to work outside of standard business hours with overseas stakeholders.
  • Team player with a positive attitude and high degree of flexibility.
  • Working knowledge of MS Office, with strong Excel skills.

Nice to have

  • Experience with MicroStrategy and PowerBI is a plus.

Compensation

  • $64,000 - $100,000 USD
  • The base salary range of this opportunity is listed below and is determined within a range based on factors including qualifications, location and experience.
  • The base salary offered is part of a total compensation package.
