Responsibilities

  • Architect the CPQ Engine: Drive the long-term technical roadmap for Salesforce CPQ & Billing, prioritizing platform performance, data integrity, and multi-year scalability.
  • Own the Revenue Engine: Design, optimize, and maintain complex Lead-to-Cash and Quote-to-Cash workflows, ensuring seamless product configuration and accurate pricing structures.
  • Lead Enterprise Integrations: Architect robust, scalable integrations between Salesforce CPQ, back-office ERP systems, and downstream financial systems using custom APIs and middleware platforms.
  • Drive the long-term technical roadmap for Salesforce CPQ & Billing, prioritizing platform performance, data integrity, and multi-year scalability.
  • Design, optimize, and maintain complex Lead-to-Cash and Quote-to-Cash workflows, ensuring seamless product configuration and accurate pricing structures.

Requirements

  • You know exactly where the platform breaks and how to scale it safely.
  • You know when to utilize out-of-the-box CPQ functionality and when it's time to write custom code.
  • You enjoy performing deep-dive code and configuration reviews, mentoring developers, and setting clear quality gates.
  • 7+ years of experience within the Salesforce ecosystem, with at least 3 years explicitly operating in a Technical Architect or Principal Engineer capacity.
  • Expert-level proficiency writing and reviewing Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), SOQL, and designing complex security models to extend CPQ capabilities.
  • Proven Architecture Track Record: 7+ years of experience within the Salesforce ecosystem, with at least 3 years explicitly operating in a Technical Architect or Principal Engineer capacity.
  • Technical Mastery: Expert-level proficiency writing and reviewing Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), SOQL, and designing complex security models to extend CPQ capabilities.

  • Holds Salesforce CPQ Specialist, System/Application Architect designations, or multiple advanced Designer certifications.
  • Advanced Certification (Preferred): Holds Salesforce CPQ Specialist, System/Application Architect designations, or multiple advanced Designer certifications.
