About the role
- The program consists of three (3) levels which expand as students complete clinical competencies in nursing program.
- SNT will be UMMC employees in part time non-benefited positions, based out of the adult and children's hospital units and will be utilized as all allocated employees; based on cost per unit of service.
- Student nurse techs will work in designated areas to strengthen critical thinking skills, learn time management and clinical practice and transition to future position of registered nurse.
Responsibilities
- Administers and performs baths and basic hygiene measures as directed by RN.
- Provides and documents care based upon patient's expectations, age, and development level.
