Responsibilities
- Direct and support end user skilled trades teams during the installation of ZEISS CMM enclosure and automated measurement systems.
- Work with and validate deliverables of ZEISS contractors & vendors
- Document system acceptance and provide installation report to project manager
- Ability to perform tasks requiring manual dexterity, such as keyboarding; conducting internet or other research; date entry, coding, matching and filing, and other similar tasks.
Nice to have
- Identify and report necessary Engineering Changes
- Train customer on system use
- Mechanical inclinations and skills preferred
- Mechanical detailing - reading blueprints, CAD Drawings, etc..
- Excellent computer skill, including proficiency in MS Office.
- Electrical systems troubleshooting experience desired
- Must be a team player across the organization.
- Must have valid US driver license

- The Project Technician is responsible for leading, troubleshooting, and resolving issues on-site of CMM project systems installation.
- The Project Technician is the front-line face to the customer to commission automated measurement equipment.
