Responsibilities
- Support the achievement of pipeline and revenue targets through proactive prospecting and new business development activities within approved market segments.
- Build and maintain a healthy pipeline of early-stage opportunities for progression by senior sales stakeholders.
- Support account-based prospecting initiatives and targeted campaigns across designated territories.
- Assist in developing and maintaining target account lists based on Ideal Customer Profile (ICP) criteria.
- Maintain accurate account and prospect data within Salesforce and other sales tools.
- Support territory planning activities by identifying key buying groups and decision-makers.
- Develop knowledge of target industries, buyer personas, and market dynamics.
- Build relationships with prospective clients and establish credibility through professional and consistent engagement.
- Maintain accurate records of prospect interactions, activities, and opportunities within Salesforce and related platforms.
- Support opportunity progression through effective follow-up and stakeholder coordination.
Requirements
- Attend industry events, networking opportunities, webinars, and conferences as required to generate awareness and new business opportunities.
Nice to have
- 2+ years of experience in business development, sales development, or a customer-facing commercial role.
- Demonstrated ability to proactively engage prospects and generate new business opportunities.
- Comfortable using CRM and sales engagement tools such as Salesforce, Gong, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, or similar platforms.
- Strong research and analytical skills with the ability to identify and prioritize opportunities.
- Bachelor's degree preferred.
- Willingness to travel occasionally as required.
