About the role
- Facilities Worker Facilities workers are the front-line for the overall maintenance and improvement of the physical grounds and buildings of Tonto Rim Christian Camp.
- Repair and maintenance of camp vehicles, facilities, and property 2.
- Safe operation of tractors, trucks, trailers, and other vehicles 4.
Responsibilities
- Ability to organize and maintain a clean work area 4.
Requirements
- Must be able to work some weekends and odd hours, as needed.
- Ability to work outside in inclement/extreme weather conditions (hot and cold) 2.
- Must be able to lift 75 pounds 3.
- Ability to stand for long periods of time
Skills
- Assisting other departments when facilities-related needs arise i.e. moving furniture, ladder work, heavier lifting, etc. 2.
- Using mechanized tools and equipment 9.
- Using manual tools and equipment 10.
- Lifting and carrying materials and supplies, ladders, hoses, tools, equipment, boxes, bed frames, etc.
