- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, with some Finance background preferred 3+ years of accounting experience, preferably in real estate or property management.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Advanced Excel skills and experience working with large datasets.
- Strong understanding of financial statements and accounting principles.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to communicate findings and recommendations clearly to both accounting and other teams.
- CPA certification (preferred) Hands-on experience with property management accounting software (preferred)
Skills
- Core responsibilities include:
- Accounting & Financial Reporting Prepare and review journal entries, accruals, reclassifications, and account reconciliations.
- Analyze balance sheet and income statement accounts for accuracy and completeness.
- Assist with month-end and year-end close processes.
- Prepare supporting schedules and financial analyses.
- Review financial statements and identify unusual trends, errors, or inconsistencies.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards.
- Analysis & Problem Solving Investigate accounting discrepancies and determine root causes.
- Identify accounting process inefficiencies and recommend improvements.
- Develop tools, reports, and metrics that improve decision-making.
- Evaluate existing processes and recommend scalable solutions.
- Participate in acquisitions, asset management, and other strategic initiatives as needed.
Compensation
- $95,000/yr-$105,000/yr Here are some things that will make you successful: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, with some Finance background preferred 3+ years of accounting experience, preferably in real estate or property management.

- Ability to identify issues, investigate root causes, and implement solutions.
