Bachelor's degree in Accounting, with some Finance background preferred 3+ years of accounting experience, preferably in real estate or property management.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Advanced Excel skills and experience working with large datasets.
Strong understanding of financial statements and accounting principles.
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
Ability to communicate findings and recommendations clearly to both accounting and other teams.
CPA certification (preferred) Hands-on experience with property management accounting software (preferred)

Core responsibilities include:
Accounting & Financial Reporting Prepare and review journal entries, accruals, reclassifications, and account reconciliations.
Analyze balance sheet and income statement accounts for accuracy and completeness.
Assist with month-end and year-end close processes.
Prepare supporting schedules and financial analyses.
Review financial statements and identify unusual trends, errors, or inconsistencies.
Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards.
Analysis & Problem Solving Investigate accounting discrepancies and determine root causes.
Identify accounting process inefficiencies and recommend improvements.
Develop tools, reports, and metrics that improve decision-making.
Evaluate existing processes and recommend scalable solutions.
Participate in acquisitions, asset management, and other strategic initiatives as needed.
