  • Strong understanding of financial statements and accounting principles.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to communicate findings and recommendations clearly to both accounting and other teams.
  • CPA certification (preferred) Hands-on experience with property management accounting software (preferred)

Skills

  • Core responsibilities include:
  • Accounting & Financial Reporting Prepare and review journal entries, accruals, reclassifications, and account reconciliations.
  • Analyze balance sheet and income statement accounts for accuracy and completeness.
  • Assist with month-end and year-end close processes.
  • Prepare supporting schedules and financial analyses.
  • Review financial statements and identify unusual trends, errors, or inconsistencies.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards.
  • Analysis & Problem Solving Investigate accounting discrepancies and determine root causes.
  • Identify accounting process inefficiencies and recommend improvements.
  • Develop tools, reports, and metrics that improve decision-making.
  • Evaluate existing processes and recommend scalable solutions.
  • Participate in acquisitions, asset management, and other strategic initiatives as needed.

Compensation

  • $95,000/yr-$105,000/yr Here are some things that will make you successful: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, with some Finance background preferred 3+ years of accounting experience, preferably in real estate or property management.
