About the role
- We're looking for a hands-on Engineering Manager for the Radar Protect team.
- Radar Protect https://radar.com/solutions/protect is a core product in the Radar platform.
- Our customers use it for fraud detection and compliance use cases critical to their organizations.
Responsibilities
- Lead a team of 5 engineers across multiple stacks
- This is a meaningful ownership stake in the company we provide to our employees as we build a category-defining company.
Nice to have

- Have worked on a high throughput, high growth SaaS application
- Have worked on geospatial infrastructure or fraud detection
Skills
- The web dashboard is a React app.
- The API layer is a Node.js TypeScript app.
- Everything is deployed to AWS via Kubernetes on EKS using Terraform.
- Most engineers are in the on-call rotation.
- Engineers choose what AI tools they use, Claude and Codex being the most popular.
- There is a range of how much engineers use AI. Most use it daily if not weekly.
Compensation
- For candidates based in the United States, the base salary range for this full-time position is between $200,000 - $300,000/year with an opportunity for performance bonuses and incentives.
- In addition to cash compensation, Radar offers full-time employees stock option grants under its equity plan.
