About the role
- Prepares reports of data analyses, results, and other data-related information, using nontechnical and technical language as appropriate, to internal and external stakeholders in different formats (e.g., infographics, reports, texts, videos).
- Demonstrates a genuine commitment to belonging in the workplace and participates in activities and workshops to foster continuous learning.
Responsibilities
- Coordinates and manages the review and approval process of Clerc Center's requests for evaluation support from the MER team, to reach and involve internal and external groups for management of evaluation requests.
- Conducts analyses of quantitative, qualitative, and other types of data to meet accountability requirements and to support strategic planning, school improvement, public input, and national work
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree.
- A minimum of three years of professional experience with data analysis, evaluation, and assessments, or a related field.
- Ability to communicate in American Sign Language.
Nice to have
- Master's degree.
- Experience working in a K-12 setting.
- Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities:
- Demonstrated experience with spreadsheets, databases, and analytical programs for analysis of data (including quantitative and qualitative data).
- Demonstrated experience working with deaf or hard of hearing students in ECE-12, post-secondary, or agency settings, their families, and/or educators, and professionals who work with them.
Skills
- Strong ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
- Strong analytical, writing, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Strong knowledge about professional standards related to the protection of human subjects and ethical and professional practice.
- Strong knowledge of working with traditionally underserved groups.
- Demonstrated experience with using tools to track activities, milestones, and progress.
- Demonstrated ability to work with and across university departments, outside constituents, and groups.
