About the role

You will be responsible for preparing and recording general accounting transactions and supporting Controller Group activities within the Finance team.
Reporting Relationship: You will report to the Manager, Settlement and Project Accounting.

Perform a variety of accounting activities in accordance with accounting principles and standards to control the organization's financial resources and ensure that it complies with all relevant regulations, laws, and reporting requirements.
Perform monthly account reconciliations, investigate variances, and resolve outstanding items to ensure accuracy and completeness.
Perform monthly bank account reconciliations and resolve unreconciled items.
Maintain accounting records and documentation in accordance with Finance procedures.

Required skills and experience
College diploma or degree in Accounting or a related field. Equivalent work experience may be considered.
2 years of experience in general accounting.
Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel.

The expected base salary range for this role is $ 44,000 - $60,000.
Total compensation may also include variable or discretionary incentive components, including but not limited to bonuses and commissions.
