About the role
- In this job you will assist with the set-up, programming, operation, and adjustment of conventional or automatic machines such as Computer Numeric Controlled (CNC) machines.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine inspections and minor maintenance, including housekeeping duties as needed.

Requirements
- Overtime may be required as needed to meet production demands, including working Fridays.
- Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at a time.
- Internal Candidates: Please note that you must be in your current position for a minimum of 6 months to be eligible to apply for other internal positions.
- Required Skills & Abilities:
Nice to have
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- At least 1-2 years of experience as a fully qualified machinist required.
- Emphasis on machinist trade highly preferred.
Skills
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and prints.
- Ability to work in auto cad including work with computers, hand tools and measuring devices such as calipers, micrometers and tape measures.
- Ability to set up and operate manual lathes and other machines according to precise tolerances.
- Ability to change tooling, set up machines according to required machining sequences.
- Advanced troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Basic maintenance skills.
- Ability to work and run your machine with minimal supervision.
