About the role

  • In this role, you will set up machines, interpret technical drawings, and ensure parts are manufactured to strict tolerances and quality standards.
  • The employee frequently needs to stand, walk, and sit.
  • Occasionally, the employee must climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.

Responsibilities

  • Program and operate CNC lathes and milling machines to perform precision machining operations
  • Perform first-piece and in-process inspections to ensure tolerance and quality requirements are met
  • Maintain tight tolerances and dimensional accuracy across complex machining operations
  • Collaborate with Quality and Manufacturing Engineering teams to ensure product quality
  • Design or modify fixtures and tooling to support production and special engineering needs
  • Maintain equipment, work area cleanliness, and adherence to all safety procedures
  • Ability to maintain high precision and tight tolerances
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks
  • You will collaborate with engineering, quality, and operations teams to optimize machining processes, improve efficiency, and maintain high-quality production output.

Requirements

  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel
  • Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Associates degree in Machine Technology or related field or equivalent experience (at least 5 years relevant experience)
  • Experience with CNC programming (lathe and milling)

Compensation

  • The salary range provided is intended to display the value of the company's base pay compensation for this position.
  • $42,000 - $53,500
