About the role
- Emory Healthcare EMS is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Paramedic to join our Quick Response Team.
- The successful candidate will be highly proactive and self-driven to respond promptly to emergency and non-emergency 911 calls and provide critical care transports.
- This role demands leadership, collaboration, quick decision-making, outstanding clinical skills, and the ability to operate efficiently in diverse environments.
Responsibilities
- Operate and maintain emergency response vehicles, always ensuring readiness.
- Maintain accurate, detailed documentation of patient care and transport activities.
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years' experience as a paramedic, preferably with critical care and 911 background.
- Required Certification/Registration/Licensure:
- GA Critical Care Paramedic Endorsement within 1 year of hire.
- Demonstrate proficiency in airway management, IV therapy, advanced cardiac life support, and other critical care procedures.
- A. Education & Training:
- High School graduate or GED equivalent. Completion of a vocational training program as a Paramedic.
- B. Experience:
- C. Required Certification/Registration/Licensure:
- Valid Georgia Paramedic License with current state licensure.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Current AHA/ARC BLS certification.
- Current AHA ACLS/ARC ALS certification.
- AHA/ARC PALS certification or within 9 months of hire.
- CPT training within 9 months of hire.

- Adhere to all EMS policies, procedures, and safety protocols.
- Engage in continuous education and skills development to stay current with industry standards.
