About the role

We're looking for a business-minded attorney to join our Legal team as Product Counsel who will report to the Director - Legal Product & Strategy.
You'll handle day-to-day product counselling by providing practical, solution-oriented legal advice throughout the product-development lifecycle, helping teams navigate complex issues while moving quickly and thoughtfully.

Responsibilities

Develop scalable legal guidance, policies, playbooks, and training materials that empower teams to make informed decisions.
Partner with commercial, privacy, security, compliance, and corporate legal colleagues to address cross-functional legal issues and drive alignment.
Perform other related duties and tasks as necessary or as assigned.
Deliver high-quality legal analysis, attention to detail, and execution across a broad range of product counseling matters.
Operate effectively in ambiguous, fast-paced environments while balancing competing priorities and business objectives to drive results.

Requirements

This role will require strong legal judgment, sound business instincts, and the ability to operate independently in a fast-moving technical environment.

Ironclad, Salesforce, Jira, Notion, Slack, among others.

J.D. and active membership in at least one U.S. state bar.
4-7 years of relevant legal experience counseling SaaS companies.
Creative mindset and an ability to find solutions where others see barriers.
Experience using AI tools (such as Claude or similar) to enhance legal workflow efficiency.

Compensation

The compensation range displayed on this job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire compensation for the target position and level, and may include sales incentives or target bonuses depending on the role.
