About the role
- The Accountant prepares, analyzes and reviews financial statements using accounting principles in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) and enterprise allocation methods.
Responsibilities
- Performs general accounting functions, including but not limited to preparation of journal entries, coding of invoices, accounting analysis and reconciliation.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- Reconciles, confirms and maintains general ledger accounts.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required.
- If degree is in Finance, successful completion of Intermediate Accounting I & II required.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Access and Powerpoint).
- May be required to analyze and review financial statements for completeness, accuracy, and compliance.
- Prepares supporting financial data as required.
- The integrity of information must be maintained as outlined in the company Administrative Manual.
